LE-LA: We have arrived!

The beginning

On a sunny day in the spring/summer 2010 relaxing after a hard days mountain biking at Grizedale Forest* we realised that all four of us wanted to do the C2C. So a few months later, along with 2 other cyclists, we did.

This year we did the newest coast to coast route - the Way of the Roses. So what next?

Annie mentioned doing Lands End to Lancaster (working in a school meant restricted time) and the seed was sown. Realising that cheap tickets were still available for the Friday before the bank holiday and suddenly the game was afoot.

And so here we are just days from a long train journey down south - and a much longer journey back up.

*In reality I think we spent 100% more time o/s the cafe than we did on the bikes
